Yes. Broadband internet is required. The more robust WIFI you have, the better your system will operate. During our site survey, we will perform a wireless speed test at different spots throughout your home or business to verify proper signal strength at the necessary areas. We exclusively install the Qolsys alarm and automation hub which utilizes dual path connectivity. Cellular and WIFI. Your system is constantly talking across both communication paths and will automatically utilize the strongest path. So if your WIFI or Internet goes down, your system will still communicate and work remotely over cellular connection.

Yes, most existing systems can be upgraded and we can utilize existing alarm sensors. We can take over and upgrade most hardwired alarm zones. We exclusively install the Qolsys alarm and automation hub powered by Alarm.com for remote access. The Qolsys panel has the ability to communicate with many legacy DSC, Honeywell, and Interlogix wireless devices. We typically replace all life safety devices such as smoke and CO detectors. A site survey is required for determination.

Yes. By law, all residential and commercial alarm systems that are connected to a central alarm station must be registered with your local municipality before police or fire departments will be dispatched. Anchor Door Tech will submit this registration for you and keep it on file. Once your system is tested and active, you are responsible for any false alarm fees issued by your local municipality. We will provide you with your local statutes and fee structure.
